PRINCIPAL DESIGNER

As a little girl, growing up in Brazil, Cat loved to rearrange furniture, set up decorative shelves, and put together colors and fabrics. Interior Design has always been Cat's passion and she considers it part of her DNA.
Cat received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Interior Design from Brigham Young University in 2002. After graduation, she completed a residential design internship in New York City with Michael Davis Architects, followed by a second internship in hospitality design with WATG in Orlando Florida. After relocating to southern California, Cat worked as a residential designer for high-end custom homes in Newport Beach. As a multifaceted designer, she then began working at WATG Newport Beach California office in hospitality design. Cat designed hotels, resorts and spas such as the JW Marriott Desert Springs Spa, St. Regis Princeville Hotel, JW Marriott Manhattan Beach renovation, and many more international projects from Portugal to Egypt. 
Cat founded Lyon Interior Design in 2009 and has led and managed countless commercial and residential projects since. 
Cat's expertise in both residential and hospitality design and her passion for her work, allows her to help clients achieve the most beautiful and functional spaces possible.
